At the invitation of academician Liu Jizhen, director of the State Key Laboratory of Alternate Electric Power System with Renewable Energy Source (NCEPU), professor Jacob φstergaard from Technical University of Denmark, who is also a member of the academic committee of the Laboratory, came to visit NCEPU on June 8, 2017 and conducted academic exchange.

　　Professor Jacob made an academic report entitled “100% Renewable based energy system”. Professor Liu Yongqian presided over the report and more than 10 teachers and over 100 doctoral and master students attended the report. In his report, professor Jacob presented the development of the energy system in Denmark from a centralized model to a distributed model, and introduced the Danish experience in using digital solutions to settle the problems of efficiency and stability existing in the distributed energy system so as to utilize or store the new energy to the utmost extent, and in the end professor Jacob made a dynamic demonstration of electric power systems stability analysis methods through practical examples.

　　　  Professor Jacob φstergaard is a member of the second academic committee of the State Key Laboratory of Alternate Electric Power System with Renewable Energy Source (NCEPU). Before his report, professor Jacob and the director of the International Cooperation Department made in-depth discussions on co-culturing graduates, masters and doctors and joint application for international cooperation programs as well. Professor Jacob also visited the Laboratory accompanied by the staff.
